Below, we will discuss the Audiweb Database planning data with the total internet consumption figures for July 2023, collected using the new Audiweb 2.0 methodology.
In the month of July, the total digital audience from Internet on Computer or Mobile (Smartphones and Tablets) reached 43.4 million unique users who browsed for 67 hours, equivalent to 2 days and 19 hours in total. This data indicates a decrease (-0-4%) compared to the month of June, which already showed a lower overall browsing time compared to May. However, these figures are in line with previous summer months.
Data for the Average Day
Analyzing the data for the average day in July, there were 36.4 million individuals online at least once from the tracked devices (Computers, Smartphones, and Tablets), accounting for 62% of the population aged 2 years and older. The distribution of time spent online in July still reflects the consistent dominance of mobile usage (Smartphones and/or Tablets), which accounts for 88.2% of the total time spent on internet consumption.
Data by Gender and Age Groups
Delving into the profiles of online users on the average day of this second summer month of data collection, we find that 64.5% were men (18.4 million) and 59.8% were women (nearly 18 million).
Among the most engaged segments of the population aged 2 to 74, we find 88.4% of the 35-44 age group (6.6 million), 87% of the 45-54 age group (8.3 million), and 84.9% of the 25-34 age group (5.3 million).
