Nel corso degli anni, le persone sono diventate più consapevoli rispetto a quali dati personali vengono raccolti, come sono usati e con chi vengono condivisi online. Ma dicono anche di preferire contenuti ed esperienze pubblicitarie su misura. Infatti, il 74% delle persone desidera vedere solo annunci pertinenti e utili per loro.
È giunto il momento di esaminare a fondo la strategia relativa alla privacy degli annunci e valutare in modo realistico quanto sia possibile fare ancora affidamento su tecnologie che stanno per essere superate, come i cookie di terze parti.
Le aziende che forniscono esperienze rispettose della privacy e annunci pertinenti hanno l’opportunità distinguersi dalle altre. E quelle che non lo fanno potrebbero perdere clienti: per esempio, il 93% degli americani passerebbe a un’azienda che dà priorità alla privacy dei dati rispetto a una che agisce diversamente.

L’approccio di Google in questo senso è incentrato su dati di prima parte, intelligenza artificiale e tecnologie a tutela della privacy.
I modi tradizionali di raggiungere e coinvolgere il pubblico, e le metriche utilizzate per valutare l’efficacia delle campagne, stanno subendo un’evoluzione rapida che raggiungerà il suo apice in tempi brevissimi.
Cosa significa tutto questo in pratica? Il remarketing è un ottimo esempio. Verosimilmente è stato uno dei catalizzatori delle preoccupazioni sulla privacy online perché le persone percepiscono di essere “seguite” sul web. Quindi, in un mondo senza cookie di terze parti, è improbabile che le campagne di remarketing autonome raggiungano la stessa copertura di oggi senza il supporto di tecnologie aggiuntive come l’intelligenza artificiale.
Creare una strategia duratura con tre ingredienti chiave
Una volta abbracciata la nuova mentalità, è il momento di fare il punto sulla strategia.
Da anni parliamo dell’importanza di adottare strategie e soluzioni durature e incentrate sulla privacy, ma ora siamo ad una svolta. Dati di prima parte, IA e tecnologie a tutela della privacy costituiscono gli ingredienti chiave di Google per un marketing incentrato sulla privacy. E sono questi gli ingredienti chiave anche per inserzionisti e publisher, da tenere a mente in base ai propri obiettivi aziendali.
- Consolidare la strategia basata sui dati proprietari. In un panorama in continua evoluzione, sviluppare e definire la propria strategia basata sui dati di prima parte è più importante che mai, soprattutto perché i consumatori si spostano da un dispositivo all’altro e il loro percorso di acquisto è più articolato. PepsiCo, per esempio, è stata in grado di far crescere i propri dati proprietari del 50% concentrandosi sull’offrire valore in cambio della fiducia nella gestione dei dati personali, creando relazioni a lungo termine.
- Utilizzare soluzioni di IA. Gli strumenti basati sull’intelligenza artificiale richiedono meno dati per fare previsioni e colmano eventuali lacune per aiutare i professionisti del marketing a ottimizzare gli obiettivi della campagna. La compagnia aerea Air France ha aumentato le conversioni in media del 9% nei suoi mercati europei e ha ottenuto un aumento del 4% in Francia misurando in modo più accurato il consenso e le conversioni con tecniche di modellazione.
