Il tema dell’Engage Conference 2019, evento annuale tenutosi a Milano finalizzato a riflettere sui grandi temi della pubblicità, è stato “The new communication: data, content, creativity”. In particolare gli speech si sono concentrati sull’impatto della digital transformation nell’ambito della comunicazione.
Molti i personaggi di spicco che si sono susseguiti sul palco dell’auditorium IULM. Ognuno ha raccontato la propria opinione riguardo le opportunità e le sfide che il contesto tecnologico e sociale pongono in questi anni. Uno dei quesiti ricorrenti posto agli esperti è stato “La comunicazione sta vivendo un momento di crisi?”
A seguire vi forniamo la nostra personale interpretazione su quelli che sono stati i punti di forza e le debolezze riscontrati durante la giornata.
Argomentazione senza dubbio ambiziosa e nella quale è difficile non sbilanciarsi, a volte un po’ troppo, verso il proprio business personale. Il futuro sarà sicuramente molto vario come lo è il nostro presente, e noi pensiamo che non per forza prevarrà un particolare formato, piattaforma o contenuto.
Il futuro è evoluzione, è saper cogliere il cambiamento e mettersi in gioco modulandosi a favore di esso. Una considerazione interessante è stata che “l’interesse alla complessità è ciò che muove il mondo” L’ambizione spinge le persone, le aziende e le agenzie ad andare sempre oltre i propri limiti qualsiasi sia il mezzo.
Noi di E-Business Consulting ne sappiamo qualcosa, in quanto ci siamo trovati a cavalcare il mondo digital quando ancora non esisteva ciò che oggi è il cuore di questo mercato: lo smartphone. Innovazione, impegno e lungimiranza sono doti che ricerchiamo e rincorriamo ogni giorno.
“Comunicare tramite mobile è come pattinare sul ghiaccio: la salvezza è la velocità”: un’altra citazione estrapolata dall’Engage Conference 2019 che ci ha fatto molto riflettere e alla quale vorremmo aggiungere che ormai, tutto il digital è velocità. Le persone saranno sempre più intercettate da stimoli durante tutta la customer journey, non solo nel loro smartphone ma da un sistema di infrastrutture che proietteranno Adv sempre più personalizzate anche per le strade e negli ambienti pubblici.
La comunicazione sta affrontando un periodo di crisi? Se intendiamo la parola “crisi” per la sua etimologia (dal latino crisis) allora si. La comunicazione sta affrontando un periodo di scelte, decisioni.
Sarà compito dei vari player in gioco, giostrare e adattare il proprio business alle opportunità tra cui scegliere.
