The month of June 2020 shows signs of recovery following the collapse caused by Covid-19. In the field of advertising investments in Italy there was a -22,9% compared to the same period of 2019. If Nielsen's estimate on search, social, classified (sponsored ads) and so-called "Over The Top" (OTT) are excluded from the collection ) the performance of the first quarter of 2020 closes with a -26,8% distributed in all media and all sectors.

About media, at the first place among the most disadvantaged we find outdoor and transit, which due to the limitations in travel has suffered a reduction of -56,4% and -56,5% of investments. Than we find magazines which recorded a decrease of -41,5%. The sector perhaps less penalized by the emergency is online advertising (including search, social, classified and OTT) which recorded a decrease of -15,8% Taking into consideration the investment commodity sectors returned to growth in June: housing (+ 25.4%), distribution (+16.7), home management (+ 17,7%) and media/publishing (+9,3%).

On the other hand, drinks/alcool (-38,4%), cars (-21,1%) and pharmaceuticals/healthcare (-24,5%) are down. Covid-19 has had a strong impact on all businesses, and now that the world is starting to return to normality, we have to restart our country economically.
