Internet Audience July 2017

Unique users connected to the Internet at least once in the month of July 2017 are 32 million with an average time of browsing of 55 hours and 32 minutes per person. If we analyze the data by the average day, we can see that the total audience amounts to 24,4 million users, connected for 2 hours and 20 minutes.

As for the audience from Mobile devices during the period of July 2017, we can see that there are 28,8 million unique users monthly connected to the Internet, from the age group which goes from 18 to 74 years, with an average time of 49 hours and 30 minutes per person.

The users connected by smartphone or tablet on the average day are 24,4 million with an average browsing time of 2 hours and 20 minutes per person.

The majority of the total time spent online during the month of July 2017 was generated by an Internet surfing from Mobile with 21,8 million unique users in the average day, against 9,9 million unique users from PC: this data shows the importance that users give to smartphone and tablets in their life and the time they devote to these devices.

The age group 18 to 34 years confirms a high use of the Internet from Mobile, specifically the age group which goes from 18 to 24 years is 67,2% and 25-34 years are 60%.

Regarding the consumption data for the month of July, Search Sites and General Portals arrives to the first place with about 92,2% and 88,5% of online users.

Then we find the Social Network with 85,5% of users and more than 16 hours per person. Among other categories are Videos / Movies with 81,5% of online users, Email (75,1% of online users) and News (61,8% of online users).
