2018 is marked by advertising expenses, which increased compared to the previous year, with an increase of +2.6%, equal to about 14.3 million, considering the entire perimeter of web advertising.
Analyzing the month of January 2018 we can see how some media in particular show a growth compared to the same period of 2017: Go Tv (+29.6%), Cinema (+26.6%), Outdoor (+21.2%) and Transit (+12%). On the other hand, the average which is once again registering a rapid decline is the Press: newspapers start the year with a decline of 7.8% while magazines have risen by 16.6%.
With regard to the sectors of investment in Appliances and Industry/Construction/Activities there is a decidedly positive sign (respectively 78.6% and 72.7%) together with Informatics/Photography (52.1%). A negative halo instead involves Moto/Vehicles with a -31.3% and Professional Services with a -17.5%.
In the same period, in 2017 the sectors that had the greatest increase were Alimentari and Automobili that recorded a variation of +4.1% and +3.9% respectively compared to 2016; the greatest decrease, however, was marked by the following from the sectors related to Appliances, Finance/Insurance, IT/Photography and Telecommunications.
