The year 2017 is marked by advertising costs which decreased compared to the previous year, with a decrease of -3.1%.

Analyzing the month of October 2017 we can see how some media show a decrease:

Outdoors recorded a variation of -15.2% and represent the average that is most affected by this contraction. Below we find Newspapers (-9.2%), Direct mail (-3.1%), Magazines (-6.7%) and TV (-2.9%). On the other hand, the media recorded growth: Cinema (+ 7.5%), Go TV (+ 16.7%), Radio (+ 5.4%), Transit (3.6%) and the Internet (0.9 %).

As regards the investment sectors, Games / School Items recorded the highest positive sign (+ 38.6%). The sectors that hold the largest share of the market, namely Food and Automotive, recorded a variation of -4.5%, + 1.1%, respectively; the largest decrease is marked by the following sectors: Toiletries (-13.9%) Media / Publishing (-13.4%) and Finance / Insurance (-11.7%).
