The first eight months of 2017 were marked by advertising spending slightly down on the previous year, down by -1,1% over the same period of 2016.

Outdoor has a variation of -19,1% and represents the average most affected by this contraction. Following are the Newspapers (-10,5%), Periodicals (-7%), Cinema (-6%), TV (-3,5%), Direct Mail (-3,5%) and Internet (-1%). The highest growth rate on the market is GO TV (+ 12,6%).

Households with the largest market share are Households (+ 51,2%), Games and School Supplies (+ 40,3%), Computing and Photography (+ 20,5%), Industry and Construction (+ 8.5%); The largest decrease is recorded in the following sectors: Toiletries (-17.8%), Finance and Insurance (-14,3%), Media and Publishing (-13,5%), and Distribution (-10,1%).
