  • The growth of real time bidding abroad and in Italy

The data from the latest research overseas (IDC White Paper commissioned by PubMatic, October 2013) show that real time bidding is the digital advertising tool that is growing faster worldwide, it is expected that in 2017 will reach 20,8 billion dollars. In the United States in 2013 real time bidding ad spending is 14% and is expected to reach 41% in the next four years, while globally will rise from 8% in 2013 to 28% in 2017. In the United States in 2017 is also expected ¼ of direct sales will be done through real time bidding.

As regards Western Europe ad spending through real time bidding will go from 5% in 2013 to 23% in 2017.

This is the situation abroad, and in Italy?

Here the instrument of "real time bidding" represents 3% of the digital advertising market with excellent prospects for growth in line with the international trend as revealed by the data exposed during the IAB Seminar in July 2013.
