Unique users connected to the Internet at least once in the month of January 2016 are 28,7 million with an average browsing time of 47 hours per person. If we analyze the data by the average day, we can see that the total audience amounts to 21,7 million users, connected for 2 hours.

For what concerns the audience from mobile devices during the period of January 2016, we can see that there are 22,3 million of unique monthly users connected to the Internet, for the age group which goes from 18 to 74 years. The users connected by smartphone or tablet on the average day are 18,1 million with 1 hour and 44 minutes browsing time by mobile per person.

The majority of the total time spent online during the month of January 2016 was generated by an Internet surfing from mobile with 18,1 million unique users in the average day, against 11,5 million unique users from PC: this data shows the importance that users give to smartphones and tablets in their life and the time they devote to these devices.

The age group  from 18 to 34 years confirms an high use of the Internet from Mobile, specifically the age group which goes from 18 to 24 years with 2 hours e 31 minutes and 25-34 years people with 2 hours e 13 minutes.

Regarding the consumption data for the month of December, search sites and general portals arrives to the first place with the 91,9% and 89,9% of online users. Therefore we find the Social Network with 86,9% of users. Among other categories are Videos / Movies with 82,5% of online users, Email (76,1% of online users) and News (69,6% of online users).
