Online Advertising Italy April 2016

Were detected by FCP-Assointernet Observatory the data on the turnover of online advertising in the month of April 2016 compared with the data recorded in April 2015.

The Web recorded a -9,9% compared to April 2015. Mobile instead is growing and in fact it recorded a +160,4% compared to 2015. Advertising sales of Smart TV / Console and Tablet instead recorded a negative figure of -76,8% and -29,4% compared to last year.

A total level then record for the month of April a result in decline, down -4,8%, and, as pointed out by Giorgio Galantis (President of FCP-Assointernet), in January-April 2016 the Observatory FCP-Assointernet detects a slight decline relative to the monitored perimeter, due to the negative result recorded in April, the month historically often marked by mixed results.

The first quarter showed a trend on and off, like last year. It is however confirmed the positive trend of the mobile component, which has achieved very positive results with a progressive increase of about + 153% over the same period of 2015. Despite this limited bending the trend of different devices in the first quarter of the year however, recorded an increase of + 0,8% of spendings. There has been particularly encouraging data regarding the investments on mobile which bind to 7,4% of total investments.
