Have been released the data on Internet revenues for September 2012 and they show an increase by +11% compared to the same period of 2011.
The data provided relate to the categories Display, Performance and Classified/Directories which respectively recorded +13,2% (Display), -7,2% (Performance) and +8,7% (Classified/Directories) for a total increase of +9,8% in January-September 2012 vs January-September 2011.
Comparing data from September 2012 with September 2011 we can see an increase by +3,5% of Display, +2,5% of Classified/Directories and a decrease by -18,4% of the Performance category. The whole online advertising compartment increased by +1,3% in September 2012 compared to September 2011.
The President, Carlo Poss, commented on data: “Internet Media has his first slowdown in growth in the final part of the year . However it marks a positive growth of 9,8% from January. Video is an important contributor to the growth of the entire sector, with a +100% compared to the same period last year”
