Online Adv Italy November 2012

  • Online advertising in Italy decreases by 8,3% in November 2012 compared to November 2011.

Have been released the data on Internet revenues for November 2012 and they show a decrease by +8,3%  compared to the same period of 2011.

The data provided relate to the categories Display, Performance and Classified/Directories which respectively recorded +9,9% (Display), -7,8% (Performance)  and +6,4% (Classified/Directories)  for a total increase of +7,1% in January-November 2012 vs January-November 2011.

The President of FCP-Assointernet, Carlo Poss, commented on data:  “In a strongly negative context for all the world of advertising, the cumulative data from the beginning of the year for Internet remains positive (+7,1%), even if the data of November 2012 vs. November 2011 marks an impressive braking (-8,3%).”
