  • Online advertising in Italy increased by 12,1% in May 2012 compared to May 2011.

Have been released the data on Internet revenues for May 2012 and they show an increase by +12,1%  compared to the same period of 2011.

The data provided relate to the categories Display, Performance and Classified/Directories which respectively recorded + 16,3% (Display), - 3,0% (Performance) and +4,0% (Classiefied/Directories) for a total increase of +10,6% in January-May 2012 vs January-May 2011.

Comparing data from May 2012 with May 2011 we can see an increase by +13,3% and +17,0% of Display and Classified Directories respectively, and a decrease by -10,3% of the Performance category. The whole online advertising compartment increased by +12,1% in May 2012 compared to May 2011.
