  • Online advertising in Italy increased by 13,9% in June 2012 compared to June 2011.

Have been released the data on Internet revenues for June 2012 and they show an increase by +13,9%  compared to the same period of 2011.

The data provided relate to the categories Display, Performance and Classified/Directories which respectively recorded +15,6% (Display), -4,6% (Performance)  and +7,2% (Classified/Directories)  for a total increase of +11,2% in January-June 2012 vs January-June 2011.

Comparing data from June 2012 with June 2011 we can see an increase by +13,0% of Display, +24,8% of Classified/Directories  and a decrease by -9,3% of the Performance category. The whole online advertising compartment increased by +13,9% in June 2012 compared to June 2011.

The President, Carlo Poss, commented on data:  “The medium internet continues its double-digit growth (+11.2%), due to the large acceleration of video campaigns on this medium. Well even the mobile and the classic tabular campaigns"
