Data on Internet advertising revenues have been published for the period January-December 2011 with an increase of +12,3% compared to the same period of 2010.
On a monthly basis December 2011 detects a decrease of -2,7% compared to 2010.
The data are related to Display and Affiliates which recorded respectively +15,7% and +7,4%.
The President Carlo Poss’ comments: “December ends a particularly favorable year for the entire Internet sector, closing with a 12,3% average growth. Classical tabular display advertising registers a strong average growth (+15.7%), with an excellent performance for videos (+59.9%), off-page tabular formats (+31.6%) and mobile ads (+14.4%). Performance contributed with a considerable impact (+15.9%)”.
