Have been released the data on Internet revenues for August 2012 and they show an increase by +11% compared to the same period of 2011.
The data provided relate to the categories Display, Performance and Classified/Directories which respectively recorded +14,7% (Display), -5,7% (Performance) and +9,4% (Classified/Directories) for a total increase of +11% in January-August 2012 vs January-August 2011.
Comparing data from August 2012 with August 2011 we can see an increase by +5,1% of Display, +14% of Classified/Directories and a decrease by -9,3% of the Performance category. The whole online advertising compartment increased by +19,5% in August 2012 compared to August 2011.
The President, Carlo Poss, commented on data: “The trend of the internet still positive for the period January / August 2012 (+11% on average). The Display in particular, marks a 14.7% in the reporting period, a figure that includes the significant growth that the "Video" is having in Italy compared to last year"
