  • Online advertising in Italy increased by 13,9% in April 2012 compared to April 2011.

Have been released the data on Internet revenues for April 2012 and they show an increase by +13,9%  compared to the same period of 2011.

The data provided relate to the categories Display, Performance and Classified/Directories which respectively recorded +17,4% (Display), -1,1% (Performance) and +1,1% (Classiefied/Directories) for a total increase of +10,2% in January-April 2012 vs January-April 2011.

The President, Carlo Poss, commented on data: ”The growth of the web keeps going on (+10.2% on average) although to a lesser extent compared to last year. Especially in the display is significant growth of the video, which contributes to +17.4%"
