  • Online advertising in Italy increased by 2,2% in March 2012 compared to March 2011

Have been released the data on Internet revenues for March 2012 and they show an increase by 2,2%  compared to the same period of 2011.

The data provided relate to the categories Display, Performance and Classified/Directories which respectively recorded + 20, 1% (Display), + 1,6% (Performance) and -8,1% (Classiefied/Directories).

The President, Carlo Poss, commented on data: ”Slightly decrease of Internet that, due to a negative performance of Classified/Directories that shows a -8,1% during Q1, register a modest +2,2% on March vs March on last year and +8,5% on Q1 2012 vs Q1 same period. Display keep growing about +20,1% average in Q1 and Performance about +1,6%.
