Internet Audience February 2017

The data about Internet users from Pc and Mobile in February 2017 are available

The only users who have connected to the Internet at least once in the month of February 2018 are 34.2 million. Analyzing the data by average day, the total audience is represented by 26.5 million users, connected for 2 hours and 26 minutes. Data definitely increasing compared to February 2017.

Regarding the audience from Mobile devices during the period of February 2018, we are talking about the involvement of 51.8% of Italian adults, specifically the 18-24 age group with 61.4% (average of 2 hours and 40 hours) per day) and the 25-34 range with 60% (2 hours and 34 minutes per day). The figure drops to 57.2% between 35-45 years and 38% for over 55s.

In other words, 77% of the total time spent on internet use is generated by mobile. A figure that fully confirms the 2017 trend, also with regard to the relative age groups.

The audience deriving instead from the other devices has lower numbers and percentages compared to the mobile. On average, 13.6 million Italians have sailed from the PC, 24.7% of the population for 1 hour and 7 minutes of use.

With regard to consumption figures in the month of February, as in 2017, the Research Sites rank at 93.6% and the General Portals with 86.4% of online users, a slight decrease compared to the last year. Following are the Social Network with 86.1% of users and more than 13 hours per person. This figure also shows a slight decline. Among the other categories we find Internet Tools and Web Services with 85.2% and Videos/Movies with 83.2%, data almost unchanged compared to the same period in 2017.
