The FCP-Assointernet Observatory collected the aggregated data concerning the turnover of online advertising throughout 2018 compared to the data recorded in the same period of 2017.

The period under review shows a turnover of € 478.4 million compared to 2017, an increase of 4.3%, about 20 million euros. December is confirmed, by volume, the most important month.

Specifically there was a decrease in percentage for the use of Desktop and Tablet equal to -2.5% compared to last year. On the other hand, there was a strong increase in Smartphone + 31.1% (around 121 million euros) and Smart TV / Console (+ 21.8%)

About the methods of use, Browsing recorded an increase of + 2.7% compared to 2017. We can see a more significant increase in the App with a + 59.3%.

This data underline how Mobile is becoming more and more important.
