Data from Nielsen about the first five months of 2012 show total spending on advertising by more than 3.4 billion euros, a decrease of -9,5% compared to 2011.

Internet instead, indicates positive growth figures (+10,6%) with an investment of 276 million euros.

In fact, comparing May 2012 data to May 2011 we can see an increase in advertising spending by +12,9%.
